Established in 2007 in South California, Madrost return with their fourth album Charring the Rotting Earth. Their music is Thrash Metal which manages to balance very well modernity, progressiveness (I just love how the keyboards are used to enrich various parts of the album songs without prevailing on them) but without losing anything in aggressivenes. To be honest, I think that their proposal of how Thrash Metal should sound nowadays is my preferred one over the boring retro-thrash revival. Highly recommended if you are looking for something genuinely interesting and non-repetitive.
